Hawthorn will be without hard nut Luke Hodge for their clash against West Coast at Subiaco on Sunday, after the midfielder accepted a one match suspension from the Match Review Panel.

Hodge was cited for striking Richmond’s Brett Deledio in the Tigers upset on Sunday. A clearly frustrated Hodge attempted to rid Deledio after a tackle and struck him in the face. The 24 year old was offered one week with an early guilty plea, which could not be reduced do to his previous record and carry over points.

Carlton’s Simon Wiggins and Port Adelaide’s Peter Burgoyne have both been handed reprimands for their charging and rough conduct chargers from the weekend. Both are free to play but have been given 93.75 points toward their future records.

Port’s Justin Westoff and Collingwood’s Nick Maxwell have both accepted $900 fines for wrestling at AAMI Stadium on Friday night.
